History

10DollarMall started operations at the end of the 80's decade with a small store in San Diego, CA. Finally in 2011, 10DollarMall came into light with the e-commerce website 10DollarMall.com. Since July 2013 the company has a new administration which added Jake Risman along with the father son duo Daniel Maman and Steven Maman.

10DollarMall became a subsidiary of Modmerica Group. Modmerica Group is an investment holding company with many commerce related subsidiaries. The founders of Modmerica group, Jake Risman and Steven Maman, both come from retail and technology backgrounds.

10DollarMall went offline under the guise of scheduled site maintenance in early 2016 and remained off for several weeks until the website was shut down completely. The site now redirects to www.clothingunder10.com. The site's sudden departure is mired in controversy as many customers were left with unfulfilled orders, no refunds, and more questions than answers- answers that will likely not come as there is no more customer service hotline. Several customers have also complained regarding orders that were fulfilled with several missing items, and received no response from customer service. The company's Facebook page had also been deactivated, however other social outlets remain (Twitter and Instagram) but are not monitored and appear to be abandoned.
