10974 Carolalbert (2225 T-2) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on September 29, 1973, by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld on plates taken at Palomar by T. Gehrels. It was named for the aunt and uncle of an astronomer who assisted in identification of the asteroid.
