10830 Desforges (1993 UT6) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on October 20, 1993, by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory. The asteroid is named for Jacques Desforges (1723–1791), a French priest who was imprisoned for eight months in 1758 in the Bastille, during which time he planned the construction of a flying machine.
