"(You're My One and Only) True Love" was a hit single by Seduction. It peaked at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, #56 on the R&B chart, and #3 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart. It was an unexpected success, achieving Gold certification in the United States. This result ultimately opened the door for producers Robert Clivillés and David Cole of the C+C Music Factory to release Seduction's first album, Nothing Matters Without Love. Lead vocals were performed by an uncredited Martha Wash.
