Željko Babić (born 19 May 1972) is a Croatian handball player and coach.

He is a former player for RK Zagreb. In 2015 he was appointed head coach for the Croatian national team and he coached Croatia at the 2016 European Men's Handball Championship and 2017 World Men's Handball Championship. He has coached RK Metković and Croatia national handball team (as assistant coach) before becoming the head coach of the national team.

On January 30th, it was announced that Babić had been sacked as the head coach of the Croatia national team due to a poor run of results and due to Croatia finishing 4th in the World Men's Handball Championship 2017.
