Station layout

Ōkubo Station has one side platform and one island platform serving three tracks, connected by an overpass. Track 3 is used primarily for freight trains changing direction. Ōkubo Station is a simple consignment station, operated by Katagami municipal authority, with point-of-sales terminal installed.

History

Ōkubo Station opened on October 21, 1902. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987.
