Íshúsfélag Ísfirðinga

Íshúsfélag Ísfirðinga is an Icelandic company which builds freezers to store bait for fishing boats. It was established on 7 January 1912. In 1970 it changed ownership, when Gunnvör hf and Hrönn hf became main shareholders of the company. In 1994 Gunnvör acquired almost all the shares of the company. In 2000, Gunnvör hf and Hraðfystihúsið hf in Hnífsdalur merged under the name Hraðfrystihúsið Gunnvör.
