The Earth-crossing asteroid (53550) 2000 BF19 was discovered on 28 January 2000. Its diameter is between 300 and 700 m. It will pass close to Earth in 2022, seven years before (99942) Apophis; the risk of collision is minimal, but it is still considered a potentially hazardous asteroid.
