Former Satyam chairman Ramalinga Raju was sentenced to an imprisonment of seven years on Thursday by a special court. He was charged with criminal conspiracy and cheating in the Rs 7,123-crore Satyam Computer Services scam.
A fine of Rs 5 crore was also imposed on him. Earlier, the court had pronounced him and nine others guilty in the case.
