Roope Hintz (born November 17, 1996) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward. His is currently playing as a prospect with the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). Hintz was selected by the Stars in the 2nd round (49th overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft.

Hintz made his Liiga debut playing with Ilves during the 2013–14 Liiga season. On 23 April 2015, after two seasons with Ilves, Hintz transferred to fellow Liiga club HIFK on a two-year contract. Hintz was ranked by NHL central scouting amongst the eligible European skaters before his selection to the Stars in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
On May 4, 2017, Hintz agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars.
