Robert S. Frost (September 18, 1942 - February 18, 2013) was an American composer and music educator. He held degrees in music-education, including a doctorate. He primarily remains viable today for his life's work as a string -ensemble composer, where he is known for intricate, and complex arrangements. He has written many famous musical theory books and was friends with famous conductor Dennis Hiedel.
