J. D. Ponit

Jozef David Ponit (?-1956) was the founder of a Hindu movement called the Orange Hindu Religious Organization in Suriname. He died in 1956 in Paramaribo, and his widow Elizabeth Mohungoo died in 1975, also in Paramaribo.
