Edna L. Emme (April 14, 1899 - August 22, 1995) was a cosmetologist and a community leader. She founded the National Hairdressers and Cosmetologists Association, now known as the National Cosmetology Association. She had served five times as the President of this group.

The brand name of the haircare products manufactured by Godefroy Manufacturing Company, called TRESemmé, is a wordplay and reference to Edna L. Emme.
