Dildar Pervaiz Bhatti (30 November 1940-30 October 1994) was a multi award-winning Pakistani television and a radio host, college professor and a TV program announcer. He worked as a teacher at Government College Sahiwal, Government College Baghbanpura in Lahore, and Government M.A.O College Lahore. Later he started hosting shows at Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television.

Early life and career
Dildar Parvaiz Bhatti was born on 30 November 1940 in Gujranwala, Pakistan where he attended early schooling. Bhatti started his career as an English professor.. He worked as a professor at several colleges. Then he began acting in television programs and stage shows in the 1970s. He hosted many television program including Takra, Yadish Bakhair, Jawan Fikar and Mela. He also wrote books Amna Samna, Dildarian and Dilbar Dildar. To entertain people at live public concerts, Dildar used to perform in musical stage shows with many Pakistani prominent artists and singers including Inayat Hussain Bhatti, Munir Hussain, Shaukat Ali, A. Nayyar, Akhlaq Ahmed, Surriya Khanum, Masood Rana and Naheed Akhtar and often music for the show would be provided by the musician Amjad Bobby.
Death and legacy
In 1994, Bhatti was attending several fund raising events with Imran Khan in United Kingdom, Canada and the United States to help him raise funds for this cancer hospital in honor of Imran Khan's late mother. On 30 October 1994, after performing at an event in New York City, Bhatti died after suffering brain haemorrhage. A ward of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre was later named Dildar Ward in his honour.
