Deep Water Slang V2.0 is the second album from underground hip hop duo Zion I. This was another critical success for the group, and with music videos for the singles "The Drill", "Finger Paint", "Boom Bip" and "Le, Le, Le", this received more commercial attention than their past work.

The original version of Deep Water Slang was scheduled for release in 2002. After their label's distributor Nu Gruv Alliance folded, the release was pushed back to 2003 and a new track listing was rearranged [1].
