Atithi Gautam K. C. is known as the youngest singer of the world to release a solo album. Atithi’s self-titled debut album was released at the age of 3 on July 18, 2010. The album included 9 Nepali songs. During album release ceremony she performed three songs live from her own album including national anthem with live orchestra amazing chief guest Amber Gurung (Chancellor, Nepal Academy of Music and Drama, Kathmandu, Nepal) and huge audiences along with national and international media.

Atithi Gautam K.C. (in Devanagari script अतिथी गौतम के. सी. In Japanese - アティティ ガウトン ケーシー) was born in 15 August 2006 at Lalitpur district of Nepal. Atithi has already been acknowledged by the World Records India, Asia books of Record and World Amazing Records as the youngest professional singer in the world.

Early Childhood

Atithi Gautam K. C. started singing at the age of 20 months, imitating her elder sister Ushna K. C. Ushna herself keeps good knowledge in singing and playing different musical instruments. Their father Uddhab KC is a renowned Nepali singer. Both the kids were inspired in the music field by their father.

At the age of 2, she had performed live on state-owned television, radio station and various concert venues astonishing the huge audiences. Athiti, who is unable even to recognize alphabets is capable to grasp the lyrics, hit the perfect notes, keep the beat and understand the melody.

Album: Atithi

Album Atithi consists of 9 Nepali songs. The concept of the album; creation, singer’s guidance, compose, music and arrange was initiated by Joogle Dongol. Along with Joogle, one of the songs in the album is the Nepalese national anthem. This is written by Byakul Maila (Pradeep Kumar Rai) and the music is by Amber Gurung.

There is one more musician associated with this album and he is Ramkrishna Duwal. Ramkrishna is the Department Chief: Traditional and Classic Music department; Nepal Academy of Music and Drama.

The songs have been written by Binod Roka (Lyricist and Lawyer); Ghanashyam Khadka (Writer and Asst. Senior Sub Editor at Kantipur Publications); and Arjun Parajuly (Poet & owner of Bhundipuran Publications).

The album was recorded in Artomuse Studio, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Music Video I

Atithi released one music video as well at the same time she released her first album. In this music video, she has proven that she is a multi-talented artist. She has acted in the music video to prove, she is equally confident in acting as well. She has danced, given expressions as the songs demand and she has leaded many senior actors in that song. The music video itself is another of its kind surprising activity by the youngest singer of the world acting on own song in that early age.

Album: Atithi - 2

Atithi’s second album Atithi II was another milestone for Atithi herself and all the people around the world. The youngest singer in the world got released her album on the top of the tallest mountain in the world. The historical event took place on 18 May 2011. The event was out of the box thinking to release the album from Mount Everest.

During All-Civil Servants Everest Expedition, Khimlal Gautam released the album on 18 May 2011. Gautam was one of a nine-member climbing team of civil servants scaling Mt Everest. This album consists of all English songs written by Ghanashyam Khadka and the music was composed by Joogle Dongol.
